Send an invoice

Invoices are for clients you bill later — wholesale, projects, retainers — not the walk-in POS cart.

Invoicing is included on Pro and Scale. Starter covers inventory and POS but not invoices. Upgrade when you’re ready to bill on account.

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Open Invoices

From Finance, open Invoices (or Bills if you’re recording money you owe). Tap New Invoice.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Add the client and dates

Enter who you’re billing, the issue date, and the due date. Add a reference or notes if you need them on the PDF.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Add line items

Describe each line, quantity, and unit price. You can link a line to an inventory product. Tax and totals calculate as you go. Each invoice can use its own currency.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Send and collect

Save as draft or send. When money comes in, record a payment (full or partial) against the invoice. RunBiz tracks the remaining balance and can remind you when it’s due or overdue.
